There And Then is a generative experiment inspired by the wild and collaborative spirit of Hic Et Nunc’s early days. Built with color palettes unknowingly shared by fellow artists who provided them for another project that remained unpublished, a happy accident credited to Harvey McFly, the project transforms a leak into a collective artwork, pairing hues in unpredictable harmony.
It is the only project ever to be published on fx(hash) through TheWallet. Released on the Tezos blockchain for free with 222 unique editions generated by collectors.
TheWallet was created by Django Bits, who minted the seed phrase on the now-defunct typed.art, making it publicly accessible. This act sparked a fascinating dynamic, as artists began publishing works through the shared wallet and users engaged in a constant race to extract the Tezos it accumulated.
The origins and activity of TheWallet were documented in detail by the Twitter profile @TheWalletNft, which closely followed the wallet’s unfolding adventures and the unpredictable stories that emerged from its open, collective use. Its anonymous owners later suggested the idea of developing an fx(hash) project inspired by that same experimental and collaborative spirit, an idea that gave origin to There And Then.
