ABOUT

My name is Claudio Dalla Bernaridina and I'm an Italian artist who has been living on a tropical island in Thailand for over a decade. My love affair with computers began very early, my first machine was a VIC-20, and it set me on a lifelong path of creation through code and media. I started using Photoshop from its very first version and worked with 3D Studio even before it came to Windows, running version 1 on MS-DOS.

Before turning fully to art, I worked as a web and graphic designer, reportage photographer, documentarist and video maker, 3D modeler and animator, and realtime 3D content creator. I've always loved pursuing new skills and diving into new territories, but I also get bored quickly, I need to keep moving, exploring, and reinventing myself. My passions can burn intensely, yet they often evolve or fade as new ones take their place.

Eventually in 2015, I left it all behind, I sold my cryptos and bought a restaurant in Thailand, a choice that freed me from the need to monetize my artistic practice. That freedom changed everything. Especially during the pandemic, while the island was empty and my restaurant closed, I found time to explore deeply and rediscover creation for its own sake. In March 2021 I stumbled upon Hic et Nunc in its very early days, marking my entry into the NFT space. Soon after, fx(hash) appeared, and generative art became the perfect convergence of everything I'd ever learned, code, design, and expression finally aligning.

Since then, I've fallen in love with pen plotters and developed an obsession with single-line drawings, continuously exploring new ways to bend the line to my will without ever breaking its flow.
