Furgorithms
3 August 2023
Furgorithms began with hundreds of generative outputs created using my custom Furry Gradients JavaScript algorithm and offered as raw material to an AI. What followed is an autonomous creative journey where an algorithm is interpreting another, guided only by randomness and its own evolving logic. The result is a series of dreamlike compositions that blur the line between human intention and machine imagination, revealing the strange beauty that emerges when code begins to create on its own.
I’ve always had a fascination with all things furry, and the AI captured that quality perfectly. Its uncanny ability to reproduce the soft, tactile feel of fur, the kind that makes you want to reach out and touch it, felt like watching a machine learn to sense texture.
A total of 44 unique artworks were generated and published on objkt.com, using the Tezos blockchain.
